Hang out more in leftist/anarchist circles. Any community which supports trans rights very likely also supports the idea that males get sad and need help as much as any other gender.

Anecdotally I pay over 200% the cost of my father’s mortgage to rent a home in a lower cost of living area.
- Comment on A conundrum 6 days ago:
It seems like you are assuming an apartment rental and not a home rental. In my experience home rentals work very differently. Utilities are not included and you do end up paying quite a bit to maintain the home.

IMO people should not be putting such personal information into an LLM that’s not running on their local machine.

There are more empty homes than homeless in the US. I’ve seen literal tons of food and clothing go right to the dump to protect profit margins.

Kubernetes is not a programming language. It’s a program written in a programming language called Go. Working with Kubernetes involves writing in a data serialisation language called YAML but YAML is not a programming language (IIRC) because it’s not Turing complete.

To each their own haha. The 2009 movie was the first ST movie I ever saw and I was not a fan.
FWIW, I mostly enjoy TOS, TNG and DS9. Not a star wars fan at all. To me the movie felt too much like star wars. It wasn’t dry enough and didn’t feel anything like a televised stage play lmao.

I haven’t seen every Star Trek movie but the ones I’ve seen have been pretty bad.
I’m here for the philosophy and the diplomacy, the movies always feel like they are made for a different audience.

When servers say “just eat at home if you don’t want to tip 20%”, do they realize this is the exact same energy as “just get a real job if you can’t afford your bills”?

Ok buddy, downvote whatever you want and get as tilted as you want but it’s not going to change the fact that most Lemmy users don’t give a shit about playing corporate slop games from EA.
It seems like it upsets you that we’re all happy with the games we can run on Linux. Which is a weird thing to be upset about unless you deep down just resent the fact that we are cooler than you (I use arch btw).
You have very strong Reddit energy which is catching me off guard. Very strange to see someone defending microsoft/ea on the fediverse. Stranger yet to see someone basically rage commenting about it haha.
