Lol I feel you. I did just manage to beat the game yesterday without too much headache so hopefully you can too. As long as you can keep clearing battles without a ton of restarts I think you’ll be ok. Just make sure to have a lot of mana restoration items haha

Currently pulling my hair out with Tactics Ogre: Reborn. Got kind of fed up with the changes from the older games so halfway through I decided to blitz through the game and avoid anything optional; currently at the last few fights before the final boss and am feeling very afraid I’m going to get stuck at the end…

No HDMI port but does support video over its USB c connector and full support for multiple consoles. Most handhelds that start around probably $150 and are android based will most likely have this functionality as well.

You ever have issues with sites not accepting your email? I tried to claim some free games on epic, made an account with my email provider (not Gmail), but I would keep getting errors saying some shit like please enter a real address or something. I don’t have issues with every site but it’s a pain when it doesn’t work.

Lmao well I don’t know what you want. If you want your PC to be secure, don’t use the Internet. You can’t expect every piece of software you come across to be perfectly vetted. In an ideal world sure everything would be foss and peer reviewed but that sure as hell ain’t the world we live in.

Almost 14 thousand games released this year on steam. You could say malware is 100x more likely than the 4 publicly known instances you mention and that’s still not even 3% of games released. Steam is responsible but I don’t know how you expect them to get that down 0% besides manually reviewing game code line by line, which would probably destroy the platform. Don’t let perfection be the enemy of good
- Comment on YSK Lemvotes.org will show you votes on any post, comment, or by user, or anything on the fediverse 1 month ago:
I have no doubt it’s incredibly easy to dox someone from upvotes alone. Maybe not on lemmy because interactions are just a lot more infrequent, but on reddit if you upvote posts about Omaha Nebraska, retro game collecting, Subaru wrx, and e bikes, you really narrow down your choice of people. If you just had one other bit of information about the user, like just a general photo or where they went to high school you could definitely nail someone down.
I really do hate this part of the Lemmyverse and wish it was all obfuscated. That with it being impossible to delete your posts really limits how much I want to interact with the site.

Really hope they move the clans to the base game. I never buy games at launch but if I’m interested enough will at the first sale. This one will heavily rely on reviews though lol

Sometimes you can get deals even on launch pricing. I remember buying fallout 4 on green man gaming at launch for $10 off.

Are you talking about an automatic curated suggestion list like how steam does? I don’t think there’s really anything like that. The site does have a community created lists section where people can create categories and add games to them while explaining their thoughts on it a little bit, like this.

I’ve used it for a while. It’s good enough but you can tell it’s still early days for the site. It’ll sync your achievements and playtime with steam and gog so that’s cool but then it’ll lag a bit maneuvering around the site and remind you that the products not fully done. They also offer a premium subscription where you can get early access to features and other promotions but I haven’t ever really felt the need to get that. Honestly my biggest hangup is that they’re just newer; if the site dies then I’m concerned with all of my tracking just going poof one day since I write little journal entries for them to remind me how I felt about certain games. Overall it’s fine, but maybe check out some others first.
- Comment on Nintendo sold almost 6 million Switch 2 units in less than a month 3 months ago:
They’ll just continue their focus on large western/Asian markets, it’s not like they need every country to be successful. They’ve been conditioned to just buy whatever AAA is put out
