“Gasoline-powered motorbikes are used widely in Hanoi, making them a major source of air pollution,” the city’s department of agriculture and environment official Le Thanh Thuy told local media on Dec 11.
The city will impose partial bans on gasoline-powered motorbikes in downtown areas from mid-2026 and will gradually expand the ban thereafter to fossil-fuel-powered cars.

lol, they even have feringhee.com
It looks like a pretty decent menu, not just the usual BIR type stuff most places have that all tastes basically the same (not that I usually mind.)
I would definitely eat there if I were in town. Being called a pejorative would be a small price to pay for delicious Indian cuisine.

- Comment on OpenAI Says Hundreds of Thousands of ChatGPT Users May Show Signs of Manic or Psychotic Crisis Every Week 1 month ago:
Ahh, right, that is what I was getting at. I suspect that the percentage of people who have at some point experienced psychotic symptoms is probably higher than most people realize.
- Comment on OpenAI Says Hundreds of Thousands of ChatGPT Users May Show Signs of Manic or Psychotic Crisis Every Week 1 month ago:
While there is some overlap, Bipolar disorder very much does not map 1:1 with people experiencing psychosis. So that isnt very helpful.
- Comment on OpenAI Says Hundreds of Thousands of ChatGPT Users May Show Signs of Manic or Psychotic Crisis Every Week 1 month ago:
Sure, but I mean the more important numbers, which would be how this compares to a control sample, or at least comparing it to the overall population. Otherwise this could be less psychosis than expected.
- Comment on OpenAI Says Hundreds of Thousands of ChatGPT Users May Show Signs of Manic or Psychotic Crisis Every Week 1 month ago:
I dipped in for this:
In a given week, OpenAI estimated that around 0.07 percent of active ChatGPT users show “possible signs of mental health emergencies related to psychosis or mania” and 0.15 percent “have conversations that include explicit indicators of potential suicidal planning or intent.”

When people ask me about my (former) career, what I usually tell them:
I spent 25 years in Tech, enjoyed endless entertainment, and for a while it brought me a pretty decent living. Despite all this, if there were somehow a magical Big Red Button that would erase the Internet from existence (and memory,) I would smash that button without a second’s hesitation.
