I’m still not sure what Granville’s plan is. “I can’t get my way so I’m releasing a nuke to kill all of you” is it? Luminous sounded like Chronoa was mindless but the question is how Granville knew that and even if he knew, how did he know how to control her, to make the nuke blow up so to say.

Also couldn’t he just absorbed the love energy first, become his young self and bring somebody else to keep Luminous busy instead of expecting Luminous to bring him the body at the right time.

I’m so disappointed that Leon’s parry didn’t change the attack’s trajectory a bit. It bought a little time though for the others so it wasn’t futile (tell that to Hinata).

I also got confused for a brief moment when Luminous got her Ultimate Skill, then I remembered Raphael got her voice from the Voice of the World which was what we hear there and not Raphael.

I see your point. They are different adaptations, but not completely separate I would say. The anime is based both on the LN and the manga. The mangaka is credited as one of the author.

Moss was shown later in the episode with his ear intact, I just liked that the manga showed us how it happened.

The multiple repeated scenes were very jarring and messed up the pacing IMO.

If this were a spy show, Victoria would have been the nameless spy who fumbled and got caught that caused the mess the protagonist has to clear up, rather than being the protagonist.

I see. On checking the anime did not show them spending time traveling back to the camp after monster-clearing and I assumed they slept next to the spring, but it seems the camp was actually some distance away.

Did I understand it correctly that they arrived at one lake, cleared it of toad-monsters, but was carried to another lake which is the ‘true’ one?

I guess you can see it both ways, without him everybody would probably have died and earned nothing.

Elymas could have taken just the shield and share the magic stone’s proceed with everybody, it would give people one less reason to criticize him. But that might not be valuable, haters will find other reasons to hate him.

I think it illustrates well that nobles don’t care about any individual commoner and just treat them like cattle, without saying it aloud. Even if it is anime original (I don’t know) I think it is a brilliant piece of world building.
