I am curious how much bandwidth it comsumes a month ? And do you have any legal implication for doing that ?

No worry you can not trust a random guy on the internet in general. But one issue I see with torrent is I will have update the torrent manually everytime a new version comes out. I wonder if you know any automatic solution for that ?

A very good idea indeed. Do you mean via torrent or is there any way to host it ?

- Comment on Do I need a NAS ? 3 months ago:
This is also one reason why I am hesitant for a NAS. They might run on their own OS and have their own private format while I dont want to be vendor locked in in any ecosystem

This is an interesting option but the main drawback is it is too big for my place currently. But I will absolutely consider it in the future
