It’s predictable because that’s how our brains work- we need context to understand such large numbers, so until you have the context, you skip parsing it.

Their original timeline claimed people on the moon by 2024- currently, it looks unlikely to have any landings before 2028.

After the disaster that was the SpaceX contract… welp, there goes the US space program.
- Comment on If proton decay isn't true 2 weeks ago:
Elements with a proton number less than or greater than iron become more stable as they approach iron, and so, over very, very long timeframes, from random quantum tunnelling effects, will favour being iron over being other elements.
Thus, in 10^~1500 years, virtually all atoms in the universe will turn into iron, assuming protons don’t decay (which may or may not happen).

There’s also a significant portion of people who are spending money on things like Labubus and other luxuries because they have no optimism for the future, and would rather just spend their money on having fun instead of saving up for retirement or a home.
- Comment on Jesus was Jewish, but Christians aren't 4 weeks ago:
You can’t use the acts as evidence for this, since they’re internally inconsistent versus the other gospels and the Pauline epistles. Current scholarship clearly puts the blame on the Romans. This is backed up by Pontius Pilate being well known for being a brutal ruler, and not one who cared much for Jewish sensibilities.
- Comment on Jesus was Jewish, but Christians aren't 4 weeks ago:
This is almost certainly not true. There is no way Romance would cede such an important aspect of governance to the Jews, not to mention most scholarship having converged on the idea that Jesus was killed by the Romans for changing their sovereignty (claiming to be the King of the Jews).

Is it surprising though? Natural fruit doesn’t have the same shelf life as modern farmed fruit, so it’ll start fermenting in just a few days - add in alcohol having a lot of calories, and so the chimpanzees naturally won’t skip out on it either.

It’s long been a fan Theory that Superman can cover some form of durability to the items he handles, otherwise a lot of the larger items he handles would crumble/collapse under their own weight, or people he carries would be crushed/chopped to chunks.

The first part is not feasible, since the microbiome has thousands, if not tens of thousands, of distinct species, we aren’t at a point where we could individually isolate, analyse, and reproduce all of these strains successfully.

This actually seems quite reasonable, it can give you a pretty good idea of how strong winds are if you’ve not experienced the distance between 40kmph and 60kmph before
