I don’t think many insects care about Elon’s kids.
- Comment on A Steam dev is deleting his own game after girlfriend made him realize AI is bad 2 weeks ago:
The stock broker is a genuinely nice guy, they realize they are soul mates and he quits his job to be a house husband so she can chase her dreams and make an indie game on steam. Coincidentally it has no AI and blows up, and they both get to retire and live off the earnings. Sorry, what were we talking about again?
- Comment on Why is sharpedo blocked in image searches on DuckDuckGo and Bing, but not Google? 4 weeks ago:
Maybe 3 letters isn’t enough and if the word is “mostly” pedo it fails

- Comment on Hytale won't be on Steam right away, as its devs want to avoid "overindexing on negative reviews" from players who "aren't as well-informed yet" 1 month ago:
Honestly I’m okay with that. I won’t be buying until it’s on steam so it’s like a closed beta for me. I’ll get a more polished product.
- Comment on It turns out Saudi Arabia will own 93.4 percent of EA if the buyout goes through, which is effectively all of it 1 month ago:
I’d have to ride several blocks on a 4 lane stroad to go anywhere outside of my neighborhood. It’s so depressing.

- Comment on Heroes with super strength would be really out of shape 4 months ago:
Maybe their super strength doesn’t apply to cardio stamina and they can still get fit by running really fast or something.
- Comment on Whatever happened to cheat codes and guide books? They were the best part of gaming they just kind of dropped of the earth is there a rhyme or reason for this? 4 months ago:
A lot of cheats weren’t actually useful gameplay cheats. My favorites were always the silly ones like big head mode or flying a real car in rogue squadron.
- Comment on Anyone know why this weird CD won't fit in my CD drive? 5 months ago:
This is maybe 10 years old and a single platter drive. It’s possible multi-platter drives would have much thinner ones.

- Comment on Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 follows Battlefield 6's lead, will also require secure boot on PC 5 months ago:
Yeah, if the anticheat is ever compromised, I don’t think it’s going to patiently wait until you’re done playing to fuck up your day. So I don’t really see a difference between always-on and sometimes-on kernel anti cheat.
- Comment on You can still get into this weekend's Battlefield 6 beta but you'll have to watch 30 minutes of those awful Twitch people 5 months ago:
It’s a good thing it comes with kernel anti cheat, it saved me from wanting to watch 30 minutes of those awful twitch people.

Have you actually tried to install it on Linux? I’d bet it would work.
- Comment on Brave browser blocks Windows feature that takes screenshots of everything you do on your PC 6 months ago:
I’ve been gamin on Linux for over a year with 0 issues, the only games that should be keeping people back are a small handful of competitive games with certain types of anticheat. (Most anticheat does work on Linux)

What about boxed water?
- Comment on Please tell me 6 months ago:
IIRC liquid death also has some very good policies.
And it was originally created because drinking water isn’t cool, and musicians in bands wanted something to drink that looked like energy drinks or alcohol while staying hydrated. They mentioned bands filling empty monster cans with water as an inspiration.

- Comment on Developer Interview: my Q&A with the dev who runs 'the' Switch piracy freeshop 6 months ago:
I actually never had one while it was “recent” but I’ve since bought a refurbished one and loaded custom firmware (very simple compared to other consoles) and played some of the top rated games and a few niche ones. I fell in love, and I use it for emulation of other Nintendo consoles up to N64 and all handheld consoles. I’m even working on a full living pokedex using only a 3ds and a switch, which is completely legit using Pokémon bank and Pokémon home and the virtual console, all official Nintendo software.
