Oh what an awful idea for a TV show.

Frfr. This was not only premeditated, he was likely going to kill her with a new knife he was looking for before she ran out the back door.
Don’t bother looking up the pity Twitter posts. This wasn’t the first time he hurt someone and went to jail. Dude should have gotten the chair.

Jesus Christ. Good thing this dude has been in jail for at least 36 years.
- Comment on I gotcha, boss 1 day ago:
Oh my god, shit. That is awful. Dude should be in jail for attempted murder. His body is basically a weapon and has the ability to kill.

I don’t want to look at what happened to her on my work computer. Can you tell me what happened? Did she die or something?

I’m 90% sure she is a porn star. My penis can’t forget a face.

I don’t. Synology stores all the files and it comes with Synology photos, but it’s clunky if you don’t have an Intel chip that has an onboard GPU.
I have a 10 GbE connection to my proxmox running the immich with only read access.

I wish it was that simple. I have over 15 TB of videos and images as far back as the 1970s. Mostly in raw format or slog format. Copying and pasting an instance would take me a ton of time.

You know, I have been using Immich since forever. The last issue was probably a year ago.

Immich is amazing until you update and your wife is complaining she can’t see her photos.
The most reliable piece of hardware and software I have is my Synology.
- Comment on Lenovo’s New ThinkPads Score 10/10 for Repairability— Repair goes mega mainstream with the launch of Lenovo's new T-series laptops 4 days ago:
In the early 2000s, my longest lasting laptop was an IBM T14. I replaced the battery twice and increased the memory. I retired it right before the pandemic. It lasted over 15 years.
I replaced it with another Lenovo T14. Great keyboards and comes with Fedora workstation or Ubuntu out of the box.
- Comment on W10 EoL and possibly switching to Linux (various tech questions) 4 days ago:
Ok, I have 4 computers in my house and 2 are running Fedora and 2 are running win11.
I try my best to go 100% Linux, but it’s simply not possible for me. I have photography software that is only on Windows. Excire Foto and Insta360 PC app to pull pro res from the camera. Also the Sony camera software to convert the raw photos into a useable file.
I tried for hours to figure it out with bottles with zero success.
So I still have to run windows for some key software.

Don’t you need an atmosphere to transfer heat? Otherwise the dissipation is super slow.

I still have the plasma in the bedroom, but I switched to OLED and have been pretty happy with it.

Except the crazy amount of heat and electricity it consumes. I know. I also have one.

Oh man. Silent rifle that can damage those cameras from 20 yards. Wow.
Hm… Does anyone know if the glass it uses is tough like gorilla glass?

Sounds great! I think the only time I can think of when I would be away from the internet would be when I’m traveling and have no internet.
Last question. When you say you can only view, can’t edit, does that mean it saves the entire db on your phone? If not, is there a function that always syncs locally a specific folder or directory in case your internet is sloppy?
I guess I could just throw this on my proxmox and figure out all those answers myself. I appreciate you making this. Thank you.

Thank you. Can you tell me how your app handles sync when one or both phones are offline and have mismatched content when one or both phones come online?

I doubt it. That fad came and went so fast. I can’t imagine the law changing much differently than the existing noise level laws.
