I absolutely love the combat in FF7R.
It also took a bit for it to click in my head. I'm not sure exactly when ... but once it did, there was no going back for me.

I absolutely love the FF7R series and love what they've done with it.
I have played other remakes that are basically exact carbon copies and eventually I get bored of them or can recognize that there are some gaming mechanics from 20 years ago that aren't really great in today's era.
So I enjoy how they tried a more daring approach and... at least for me it worked well. From combat to story telling, I give it full marks. I know it's not for everyone, but they're some of my favorite games ever.

- Comment on Borderlands 4 Launches To Mostly Negative Steam Reviews Over Performance Issues And Crashing 1 week ago:
It is tiring that new games launch with such poor performance. But, good thing we have game logs to help protect us from this kind of thing. Should be able to just wait it out and pick it up later for much cheaper.

Awesome!
Welcome! I never know which community will end up being my main gaming one on the Fediverse, but I'll probably spend more time around here.

That it does :)
LibreOffice is awesome too. No complaints really.

Ah I see. Thanks for the information. I use both LibreOffice and OnlyOffice and generally am happy with both. I kind of just bounce around back and forth.

I believe Open Office and Only Office are different products.
Only Office had a major release in June, 2025.
And you are correct that Open Office last update was back in December 2023.

Microsoft all about opting out rather than opting in.

This here.
I wish Only Office got as much fanfare as LibreOffice. The UI is much closer to Microsoft Office and it tends to have better compatibility.
I have both installed though and use them both lol.

I feel like in an ideal world, people can be using AI to help the quality of their work. Rather than being replaced by AI itself.

What a wild story. Scams have always existed. And they will get worse with AI no doubt.
My heart goes out to his family that has to deal with the grief of losing a loved one now. May he rest in peace.
