I want to see it, lemmys got a bigger problem with individuals trying to control what everyone else sees, you have many options like blocking the poster
- Comment on I am fucking tired of this shitty behavior. 16 hours ago:
Lmao that would make even less ppl join this site and make it even less useful, if you think lemmy will ever be as useful as reddit, it cant have ppl on instances post invisible to other instances when they join that will just make them head to the larger instances or be even more confused on where to sign up

Need to get a new testflight if on iphone it has an update, but yeah its still mediocre and kinda pointless to post with the compression and lack of users

I have a console for those, just never liked them on pc, feels wrong to install them when I have other options for mouse and keyboard play that I would avoid with a controller

Those pages never hit the front page anymore and get less activity over time, app wants you to not look at the communities you are subed to.c shows you anything else, custom feeds works but its a hassle, there isn’t really an alternative
- Comment on hmm breakfast 2 weeks ago:
I grew up on these in america since my cousins are british, no other beans work, I remember them leaving and my mom tried to buy the right beans, it took months she shouldve just asked, any other beans suck and dont taste the same or work with breakfast food imo, heins beans + sunnyside up eggs + bacon + toast in one bite is peak
- Comment on hmm breakfast 2 weeks ago:
heinz blue can vegetarian beans are, almost like all beans don’t tastse the same
- Comment on Nearly 90% of Windows Games now run on Linux, latest data shows — as Windows 10 dies, gaming on Linux is more viable than ever 2 weeks ago:
Basically if I stopped being put off by it and felt I wanted to switch, I think it may be viable for many more ppl in a year or two, or already, I swapped like almost a year ago, I typically don’t like stuff til it feels intuitive, instantly good.

The thing is I swapped, whenever I start using something and I dont want it to become popular because everything somehow gets ruined when it gets popular, it ends up getting popular. Im usually a late “early” adopter.
- Comment on Did it really used to be common for guys to go to a bar every night like in Cheers or The Simpsons? 3 weeks ago:
Well at the college bar I couldve spent 20$ to black out with 4 pitchers depending on the day, sf id get one drink maybe
- Comment on Did it really used to be common for guys to go to a bar every night like in Cheers or The Simpsons? 3 weeks ago:
any area with bars has a cheaper bar usually, my main college bar was hella cheap, always had a deal everyday, most nearby bars had deals once a week or specials for locally brewed stuff that was a lot cheaper than buying it elsewhere. I could black out easily off 50$ vs sf which is like 2 one shot drinks maybe for that amount

Lol I was in middle school, I remember everyone trying to do the dance, we were all confused about why it was popular but also super into it, 9gag, vine, ifunny, joined reddit then, simpler times, hopeful future

- Comment on Everyday AI looks more like the '08 housing bubble 5 weeks ago:
they’re giving out ai memberships and trials constantly to try to get ppl used to it paying for it, hasnt worked, ngl I generate images ocsssionaly I like seeing random mashups sometimes, but id never pay for it if its free and fast why not, I was never gonna pay anyone to do it and im not selling anything, dont get why ppl get all pissy when ai is used for self entertainment
- Comment on I finally decided to go full piracy against big companies 1 month ago:
I stopped buying games and swapped to graphic novels which is unnecessary af because I pirate comics and get everything for free instantly, weridly just getting more dopmaine/value out of these purchses than games lately, couldve bought bf6 with a friend so itd be half price but im just not feeling gaming, would rather spend 200$ to read old discounted comics, can get quite a bit of content
- Comment on Do you think The Boys is an accurate representation if real people had superpowers? 1 month ago:
Nah, I think itd be 60% good people but the worst 10% would be in power pretending to be better than those good enough people
