- Comment on Signal announces a backup feature that includes 100MB of storage for texts and the last 45 days' worth of media for free, or 100GB of storage for $1.99/month 1 day ago:
Then why signal? Why mention encryption as important if you offer an extra attack surface for unnecessary things… (the fight against encryption is going on anyway, but there is no need to offer an unnecessary attack surface), but there are also state trojans etc.

- Comment on Soon you will be dealing with this at your supermarket check out shaming you to "donate" 2 months ago:
Unfortunately, the “trend” is also increasingly arriving in Europe… The best thing is the self-service tills, which are supposed to save staff costs and then the question of donations for doing the work yourself. Well, I don’t like that sort of thing on principle and if I donate, I give the money to the person who deserves it. So only in cash anyway.

There is also a huge difference between donations (unsolicited) and begging (requests). It should definitely be considered begging by the company in question with all the legal consequences such as tax evasion etc.

- Comment on Attention moderators and admins! Risk of "zombie" communities on remote instances (and how to avoid) 2 months ago:
Well, at least I’m not deleting it and giving people a reason to downvote.
Whereby from “Long live censorship” onwards it was no longer explicitly related to OP but to fediverse. I still hold this opinion that fediverse suffers extremely from censorship and mods who simply act unfairly.

Set each community to “only moderators can post”

- Comment on VPN Registrations Increase by 1,000%, less than Hour After PornHub Blocked France From Accessing its Website. 2 months ago:
Ah yes, chat control, the crackdown on encryption, backdoors, etc., all forgotten? So now thousands of French people are deliberately using VPNs for something that is now illegal. Well, the politicians won’t take advantage of this to take action against VPNs and encryption… To protect the children, of course…

30 50 30 60 30… Thats FPS… Frametime means the time between each frame in this second.

No more optimizations. This must then be compensated for with computing power, i.e. by the end user. These are cost reasons. Apart from that, the scope has become much greater, making optimizations more time-consuming and therefore more expensive. In the case of consoles, there is also the fact that optimizations have to be made specifically for a hardware configuration and not, as with PCs, where the range of available components is continuously increasing.
