At this point its inevitable that Nigel Farage will be our next prime minister. Our only hope is that its closer to Trump 2016 than Trump 2024

The British have a stupid mix of Imperial and metric. We usually measure distance in meters/centimeters but feet and inches are still used fairly regularly especially if you’re measuring the height of a person. Large distances are usually measured in miles unless you’re going for a run in which case you probably use km. Then you go for a drive and measure your speed in miles per hour, and your fuel efficiency in miles per gallon. Except you now need to fill up so you go to the petrol station where the prices are listed in pence per litre. Most other liquids are also measured in litres unless you’re buying milk or beer.
Then if you’re weighing things you probably use metric, unless you’re weighing a person or you’re an old person cooking. Temperature is also measured in celcius unless you’re old.

Ironically Farage is the only politician I’ve heard publically oppose it (probably have been a few others but they won’t have gotten the same media attention). I’m sure if he does get elected he’ll follow through with repealing it, just like we got that extra £350 million for the NHS he promised after Brexit…

It took 14 years and 5 prime ministers for them to realise how shit they were, and the best alternative they could think of was red Tory.

Also worth noting that they only won by a landslide because the Tories lost loads of voters because people were so fed up with them. Labour actually got less votes this election than they did previously when they lost

The kids for bullying her for her tan
To me it didn’t sound like she was being bullied, it seemed like her friends made a stupid joke and then she responded with another stupid joke. Which makes it even stupider that she got arrested. Literally just kids being kids.

Does that help with this sort of tracking? I’ve never bothered setting it up because I thought it was just for adblocking and I already use ublock, but if it has other uses I might look into it
