- Comment on A black metal band that uses toddlers-having-tantrums as vocalists 5 days ago:
If I remember correctly, Steve Vai had a recording of his wife in labor in one of the tracks from “Sex & Religion”. Devin Townsend, who was his (fairly young) vocalist then, was quite disturbed by it.
This is more “white metal” than black metal though.
- Comment on Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney argues banning Twitter over its ability to AI-generate pornographic images of minors is just 'gatekeepers' attempting to 'censor all of their political opponents' 5 days ago:
A far-right pedophile since his concern is also that far-right speech would be “censored” (despite occupying a majority of media)

Don’t blame them, they don’t have a word for that

Like The Expanse (the “Telltale” game by Deck Nine, not the upcoming one)
- Comment on New Life is Strange Game Spotted, And Yes, This One Will Finally Bring Back Chloe 1 week ago:
I liked Before The Storm (although not as much as the ones made by Dontnod), but was really disappointed by The Expanse, and Double Exposure seems to be poorly received by fans, so I’m a bit worried if this one is once again made by Deck Nine

It only became Sega in 1965, with the merge of Rosen Enterprises and Nihon Goraku Bussan, so yes

The remake is made by another studio, but I think they’ve been using Unreal Engine for all new projects

- Comment on What is with these videos where it's just someone reaction to shit someone else is doing? 2 weeks ago:
The streamer might do some funny (or insightful) comments about the game while playing, or do a playthrough with some weird conditions (e.g. he can’t do certain actions like healing, …) that you wouldn’t in your right mind apply to yourself

Downside ?

I follow GOG RSS feed, a good chunk of it is indie games (not just “old games”)

- Comment on PSA: Don't use nextcloud's auto upload on the android app as a backup 5 weeks ago:
Thanks but the goal is to sync with the “cloud”, for backup in case of fire or something.
I have hundreds (thousand ?) of albums I need to backup. I can reencode them cause 98% are on CD, but if I loose both my computers and my CDs, I’m done :/
I only use cloud backup for music and the few photos I take with my phone so I don’t really need real-time syncing.
- Comment on PSA: Don't use nextcloud's auto upload on the android app as a backup 5 weeks ago:
Is that the proprietary FolderSync or is there a FOSS solution for syncing folders ?
I used FolderSync with OneDrive (in the past) a’d it worked ok, not shitting on it, I’m just looking for a FOSS equivalent with Nextcloud
- Comment on steam vs gog, which game store to buy from? 1 month ago:
I buy most co-op (“always online” like Darktide or Helldivers 2) games on Steam (, …) since they’re often not available on GOG
For single-player, I prefer to wait for it to be on GOG. Sometimes it’s on release, other times it takes a few months (Expedition 33) or years, but I have plenty enough backlog
- Comment on A cool feature/mechanic you want to see in games again 1 month ago:
Tanking with shields (force/kinetic shields in sci-fi games, not physical shiekds)
I liked when games let you face-tank damage with your shield (like in Mass Effect, before Andromeda where they made shields weak af anf even removed shield gating) and not having to care for healing (unless you lose all your shields)
I don’t know if it’s due to the souls-like trend, but it feels like game developers need to make punitive games nowadays

Thanks, I think I’m gonna take it anyway, but I’ll wait for a GOG release (when all episodes are available)
I don’t trust episodic games and DRM, I’ve seen too many issues of people locked out of their games/episodes
