Yeah, I think that’s like security by obscurity or something. There are just way too many people to surveil. That’s why fear is always the best tactic. If people police themselves they dont have to.

Because the GOP can help them in other ways like making massive tax cuts. They can also weaponize future price increases against the democrats who will take it on the back.

For sure but if I were a criminal cabal I would stem the bleeding until the democrats took power where you can then unload the consequences on them.
