Not solely, but since sooooo many documents are already only available in PDF, you need to support it for backwards compat alone, plus all the people who just wouldn’t migrate their data to a new format because the old one still works for them.

PDF can be opened anywhere, that’s my point.

Trying to get tech illiterate people to use LibreOffice and to export their documents as PDF but they just keep sending the original files every single time… nightmare material

It does actually have “half-assed FAT32 support” and I remember LTT managed to mount something back when they reviewed it.

Lobbyism, populism, whatever the hell else they can make up. Politics isn’t about truth, it’s about accusations.

SDV is the EU Citizens initiative, which has the same goals but is otherwise mostly independent of SKG

not for the sake of “it”, for the sake of making money. they are competing with the most massive corporations with infinite money.
- Comment on What is your favorite Metroidvania? 3 months ago:
Ori series, specifically Ori and the Will of the Wisps. It’s my absolute favorite game of all time. It’s got the amazing visuals and insanely good OST, crisp and satisfying platforming and combat, engaging and unique bossfights, good difficulty settings and going for 100% is rewarding and not nearly as annoying as in many other games. While it may stray a tiny bit from the classic Metroidvania formula I think it still does it incredibly well.

The only thing that comes to mind is the mobile game Seedship, which I do highly recommend. It’s not the most expansive game but still fun.

Lots and lots of Vintage Story. It feels like a much more mature version of Minecraft and a combination of the best features of it and games like The Forest, even though it’s still in early access.
