I think they are Campo Santo, this is developed by Coal Supper. Very different vibes, but I remember liking Firewatch.

Oh you’ve got to play it! Then report back and let me know how it went. I guess the folks that made it are from Barnsley. These means nothing to me as a foreigner, but this game charmed the pants off me.

I can’t stop thinking about the last time you straighten up the fishmonger’s shop! 😂

Some of the humor is quite adult but not explicit. I’d expect a lot of it to go over a kid’s head tbh and they’d probably laugh at the silliness. But you, the adult, know what you’re truly laughing at. And if you’re okay with that then the choice is yours.

I listened to an episode last night and it tickles the same absurd funny bone, loved it! I feel like there’s a touch of the absurd or whimsy in the British humor that I respond to, even though not being British I often don’t understand some references. Case in point, I love the podcast Three Bean Salad.

That’s called a homophone.

California is contracting its own insulin supply and it’ll be available for $11 a pen starting Jan 1, 2026. I know not every state can or are willing to do this but just throwing out some examples and hopefully optimism to somehow fight the American decline from within it. We’re in a unique position as our state economy is larger than most countries but I am hopeful we will throw our weight around to counter the bs. chhs.ca.gov/…/governor-newsom-announces-affordabl…

A well made game knows no age limits! My kiddo was super into the original mario when we showed it to him. I would have thought it would look dated, but he doesn’t know!

But even less based in reality!

I’m not saying it would end well, in fact I know it would be a disaster lol. I stopped watching Westworld after two seasons and was trying to come up with a joke about how it doesn’t end well…it jumped the shark or some corny joke ha. Anyway did the show actually have a conclusion and is it worth watching to the end?

Yea, in the real world I guess we’re stuck with these bastards. What a bunch of bastards!

Thank you. You get it. We’re not assuming the rules of the world we live in. I’m just fantasizing a simple solution to a complex problem and pretending the problem would be solved ha. (Yes yes I know the problems continue…)

And thus why this zone is imaginary and would never work and I say it would have terrible problems. I fully accept reality and don’t want this to actually exist. This shower thought was not based in reality yet it seems I wasn’t clear about that.

Everybody is assuming I want to take part in this. I want an imaginary zone for all the assholes to go to…

Yea that place sounds nuts. My mom was for a time from Kowloon, not the walled city but I’m guessing around the same time it operated which is wild to imagine.

No I hate that guy. I don’t want any part of this, I want the Yarvins to fuck off somewhere else

I think I should clarify that I have no interest in participating in this zone. The reality is we live in a world of monsters and I unrealistically wish there was somewhere else they could go and do their evil and leave us be.

Oooh how I wish I could convince all those space obsessed oligarchs to expand civilization over there…

Sure. And in my imaginary head canon that is fine and everyone assumes the risk of going into that zone. Once again…this would never work.

To be clear, I don’t want to go to this autonomous zone. I want others to go do their weird shit there ha. But yea I’ll have to read Neuromancer, have heard it’s a good read.

Nah but I’m stuck here., womp womp. I want a place people voluntarily go into. This is not based in reality lol. As I’ve gotten older and learned more about history, I realized what a cursed nation we are though…

Ooh interesting. Is it by Cory Doctorow?
