I bought this keyboard as more of a historical keepsake rather than for a daily driver. Still, I would to like to have it in good shape and learn to tinker with old electronics.

t seems like the best solution would be to confiscate Starlink and nationalize it.
Not in the land of the Star-Spangled Banner, I’m afraid. That would be socialism. Orange Führer wouldn’t like that.

… and I have my age settings so I can see adult games like GTA/Dishonored, not “Super Hentai Bejeweled 3000”.
The former belong to the M rated category while the hypothetical latter would belong to the Adults Only category. As others have pointed out, you can hide adult games and still see other games with violence and mature themes. Steam classifies M-rated games and AO-rated games differently.
- Comment on True Story 1 month ago:
A shame really since their stories kick-started the entire Marvel Comics mythos. The Skrulls, Black Panther, Galactus, Silver Surfer, and, of course, Doctor Doom all originated in the pages of FF comics. Yet, as time went, they were overshadowed by later creations. There were only two notable eras of FF comics: the original Kirby/Lee run and the John Byrne era. The only other notable FF stories were some crossovers with the Chris Claremont era X-men comics.

Please tell me that this is a plot by Amtrak officials to increase their ridership and bring high-speed rail across the US? Because if it is, I’ll 100% support it!

Emulators. Are. Legal.
This was settled with the Sony/Bleem debacle. Bleem only provided the software by which one could emulate PSX games but the never the ISO files themselves. Those files could only be provided by the end user regardless of how they obtained them. Sony, of course, couldn’t give less of a shit and sued them anyways. Judges, however, took Bleem’s side on the basis that no copyright infringement had been committed on their behalf. Although Bleem would ultimately win ever lawsuit brought against them, the sheer size of the legal costs led to their closure which makes you if that Sony’s endgame the whole time.
Here’s a video by Nerrel about the legality of emulation. It’s from 2020 but it is still relevant.

- Comment on Ace Attorney became a hit IP only because Capcom pushed past the “failure” of first game, according to former dev 4 months ago:
I don’t want to came off as simping for Capcom because they’re are a corporation and thus are only profit-driven. But I do want to give credit where credit is due. Greenlighting a sequel despite the first attempt being a flop is not something that many publishers would do. This wouldn’t be the last of Capcom’s unorthodox decisions. When the industry was laying off workers left and right, Capcom actually increased their employees pay. If that increase was actually a substantial increase or not I don’t know but other companies won’t even consider increasing employee pay by a cent.
