is it maybe that americans don’t think in those terms, but it is more relevant to russian strategic thinking, becuase they don’t have those?

my point is that i think we shouldn’t just give up trying, at worst it helps atheists debate, but i might help someone leave their religion
people do sometimes leave cults and religions. we might prevent someone joining a really bad one - Comment on Where do I even start? 1 week ago:
oh okay if you can get a 4tb ssd for 130€ that’s a good deal, if it’s not a scam
- Comment on Where do I even start? 1 week ago:
why sdd for storage? 4 tb hd costs less than half of an ssd. even for the system it’s enough, if you can stomach a 20 sec boot instead of 5
- Comment on How likely do you think game streaming as DRM is to become a thing? 1 week ago:
i for one, can’t stomache the input lag, even over a lan connection
- Comment on She strongly disagrees 1 week ago:
I’m not saying it will work on everyone, but the fewer “supporting” arguments people have, the more questions they will not be able to reflexively dismiss
and i’m basing this on myself, i used to be fairly religious, although i was on a “we don’t know what god really is, and the bible is not fully literal” level, so i didn’t have a problem with texts like this - Comment on She strongly disagrees 2 weeks ago:
every christian believes they live by the bible, which they fortunately don’t, actually
also faith is supported by the existence of the “perfect”, god-inspired text, of we can show it is neither, we shake the foundations that religion relies on - Comment on They even do Price Discrimination on video games now 2 weeks ago:
i don’t remember where i got it from, but what i remembered was that they can be sued if the shareholders feel that they avoid money-making opportunities
- Comment on They even do Price Discrimination on video games now 2 weeks ago:
but they have shareholders, that demand, with the backing of the law, that the company produces as much profit as possible, otherwise they can sue them
- Comment on Promised myself I will support them after they go stable. They kept their promise and so did I 3 weeks ago:

so while not the same, it’s a fairly similar field, it is a safe to assume that similar tools can be used. not yet though, the tool is not ready.
why is there a study for this? other than hype - for “ai”, which this arguably isn’t - Comment on AI-powered CRISPR could lead to faster gene therapies, Stanford Medicine study finds 1 month ago:
