I’ve had the misfortune of posting on Craigslist Forums and then having at least 1-2 people shit on me or call me a moron

When I peed my pants in them in the 2nd grade. My parents got some for me in high school, but they were so tight I could not wear them.

Yeah… I’m not sure anymore that pre-builts are the best NAS machines. Looks like I’m buying piecemeal.

Picture I linked looks like it will fit.

I think Deep Glacier is cheaper if you’re backing up less than 8 TB, so I think I may have to go with Backblaze if I end up using up all 12 TB. Really depends.

Thanks, I’m saving this. I’m very unacquainted with plumbing / carpentry so I wouldn’t have thought of this.
- Comment on Using DVD slot for second 3.5" drive? 1 week ago:
yep, that one. They claim it has a 2tb hd in it so the 3.5" is most likely populated, but good catch! I have extra cables lying around, so that won’t be a worry.
creative
I hope not too creative. I think there’s some standard adapter online.

It’s pretty funny to sell something and then pay more than what the sale was worth to import it. I can see a lot of US businesses getting hurt this way from the volatile auction-based tariff prices (out my ass) by losing customers or having to eat the loss.

I’ve obviously never been in contact with fiber glass insulation so I don’t know the risks besides the pictures here. Nonetheless the dangers of bare fiber glass contact are still dangerous which is where I draw my source of caution.
Also get a life, you are jumping to outrage over Internet comments

I went into my attic once and I shudder to think that the insulation up there may have been glass fiber. I really fucking hope not because I sort of tripped up there. I’m fine, didn’t feel anything later, but to think I had no caution terrifies me.
For the same reason, optic fiber terrifies me. Microscope glass needles embedding themselves into your skin.

Wasn’t even surprised when I read this after eliminating 1, 5, 4, and 3.
- Comment on Windows 10 LTSC – the version that won't expire for years 3 weeks ago:
ltsc iot is on my gaming pc that I spin up once biweekly. Got the os from massgrave and most of the games from fitgirl.
If it’s a competition of getting work done, Linux is clearly superior. Windows has always just gotten in my way when I’m trying to do something with the OS.
There’s no denying though that you gotta use the right tool for the job. I ain’t forkin my time over to get Linux to work with triple-A pirated games and all that VM and wine shit. I’m just going to install ltsc and forget about it. Just as how I’m not wasting my time on Windows to install software packages, libraries, or whatever the fuck Subsystem is.

I call them after what service is running on it. E.g. openvpn.
