  No, no, I was born there, and they’re every bit as b-ass-ackwards as you can imagine. (Even more so, most likely, because most of them see the southern stereotypes as a challenge). Not a stretch whatsoever to mix them up with TX.

  I grew up with some of the first games. Loved Sierra’s library. Played some of the more eclectic games like Battle Beast and Howie’s Great Word Adventure. As far as programs went, I didn’t get much into it until later. But, I do remember using the Microsoft Works Creative Writing Program. That was fun to do designs on.

  I had a nice little profile on there until about a month ago. I didn’t delete when I saw AI spammers join. And I kept my profile even when the mods were starting to become reddit-ish. What sent me over the edge was when they announced a partnership with an AI company who said they were “just there to beef up security”. Yeah, no, not for me. Super sad, too, because Bluesky is a good idea, but I’m sticking with the fediverse.
