I’m wondering if it’s anything to do with us not being in the mean and nasty EU.

- Comment on Majority of Australians think China will be world’s most powerful country by 2035, poll finds 1 week ago:
Yes, but what is uniquely USA? It’s US Defaultism.

I’m gonna skip a step…Nothing invented by USAian, no I won’t be elaborating or entertaining your delusions with further discussion. Search engines are your friend.

I can get down with that…

Are you trying to tell me capitalism is culture?
- Comment on Majority of Australians think China will be world’s most powerful country by 2035, poll finds 2 weeks ago:
Capitalism isn’t culture.

What are you “cultural exports”?
- Comment on Real reasons people do not have the number of children they want revealed in new report 2 weeks ago:
This is one of my main reasons for not wanting kids…why would I want to bring a child into a world where I couldn’t guarantee them a decent standard of upbringing and think that the world is only going to get worse over the next 20 years anyway?

No harm, no foul. But this is why I normally include “/s”. Thank you for teaching me something.

I was being sarcastic, but I didn’t know that was a thing.

I’ve zoomed in and it looks like there’s something weird going on, but it’s hard to tell what. Based on this amount of research I’m going to conclude that they’re both strangely failing in the same way at the same time.

I was taking the piss out of people that say we wouldn’t have innovation without capitalism.
- Comment on Greenpeace slams Coca-Cola for producing billions of plastic bottles 3 weeks ago:
If plastic were as innovative as they make out, we’d have moved on from plastic by now, I’m sure.

How else are they gonna indoctrinate people to be anti privacy, right wing, anti capitalist…?
- Comment on YSK that after leaving power, Margaret Thatcher became a lobbyist for tobacco companies 3 weeks ago:
I dont think that those that you’re trying to inform will care. She destroyed communities. Specifically Essex, Newcastle, Yorkshire, Liverpool, and most of Wales and Scotland…but there are still people in those places that are fans of her.

The less people use physical cash, the less it gets produced. Eventually governments/mints will say “hey, you aren’t using this much anymore, so we’ll stop recognising it”, or something along those lines.

Yeah, if they don’t care or realise that they’re shagging to loud, they aren’t going to realise if they’re told subtlety.

PMship infamously lasted less time than a lettuce…tanked our economy in that period too.
- Comment on Do you use your blinker in a car? 2 months ago:
Yeah, I don’t disagree with that in hindsight. The absolute most dangerous piece of driving I’ve seen was from a Transit though…I was in the right hand lane slowly overtaking a car in the left hand lane, and to be fair I’ll admit I was too close to the car in front…. a Transit comes flying up my inside, and somehow fit in front of me.

We say we know people aren’t from our town when they use their indicators going round the market square and the corner after/before it.
