I guess that’s an opinion to have…

- Comment on Huge study finds no evidence cannabis helps anxiety, depression, or PTSD 2 weeks ago:
My experience was that weed made me accept not dealing with anything. It often made stuff worse but also allowed me to just accept that. It wasn’t fun and any claims of self medication was just an excuse not to stop.
After I did stop for a few years and actually dealt with my shit, I can now use weed guilt free. Now it’s actually nice when I use it because I’m not using it to lie to myself.
Most my stoner friends back then we’re like my pre healthier self too. That’s the problem with weed imo

Only near the end of the Voyager game did I realise there was a tab for tom paris logs, I’d gone the whole game missing them. What a pleasant discovery that was.

I’ve been feeding a bunch of documents I wrote into gemini last week to spit out some scripts for validation I couldn’t be arsed to write. It’s done a surprisingly comprehensive job and when wrong has been nudged right with just a little abuse…
I’m still all fuck this shit and can’t wait for the pop, but for comparison openai was utterly brain dead given the same task. I think I actually made the model worse it was so useless.

- Comment on Games you really want to play, but can't or won't? 2 months ago:
I wish I could go back and never experience it before PL. It’s what it should have been at release, took me ages to get around to trying it after the broken and underwhelming early versions because the main story was long and linear. I’m glad I did though, it’s an entirely different experience
- Comment on This New Android Smartphone Is For Everyone Who Misses the Blackberry 2 months ago:
I had an n900, it was my worst best phone. The software was often arse, the resistive screen was arse, but that keyboard was god tier.
If someone made a modernised version without a bunch of slop I’d buy 2 today just incase they went out of production.
- Comment on Ubisoft Closes Canadian Studio After It Unionizes 2 months ago:
I pirated it at some point, it’s was as expected, stuffed with repetitive boring tasks to increase playtime. Didn’t get far before deleting it.
Oh and driving was still beyond broken over a year past release

- Comment on Sony AI patent will see PlayStation games play themselves when players are stuck 2 months ago:
Sometimes I like to play a game on max difficulty, sometimes I choose easy chill mode so I’m all for games having a wide difficulty scale of options.
This just seems stupid, and more like they can’t deal arsed to balance a bunch of difficulties so just slap some AI slop in there and call it done.

Probably a steam deck as they are yet to be hit by the mega price hikes.
Once they are, abandon any thoughts of gaming for a while I guess.
