This is Maria arrest as per the article
“the police knocked on Maria’s door. They told Maria that they had received reports that someone was being held in the house against their will, “and that the woman who was still staying in the house accused me of selling sex on the premises,””
Maria’s QC pressured her to accept a guilty verdict but we are never told why.
The guilty plea is what triggers the deportation - which she can appeal and is doing so (hence the comment from her solicitor).
Lastly had her crime been human trafficking people into brothels - would you still be saying the same?
