I did something similar, where I played up until the bathroom scene, wrote it off as “Telltale’s TWD with a neat gimmick” and put it down until covid had me blasting through my backlog. By the time it was over, it was easily one of my favorites ever. The characters clicked in a way that made had me emotionally invested in a way I haven’t felt since I was a hormonal high school kid.

I had a conversation with a coworker that was really excited when the rabbit r1 (which I think wound up actually running Android under the hood) came out. I think some people just like having little devices/toys. Things like the design and physical buttons make it seem cooler to them.

I am not sure why Google would remove these important details from the search listings
Because they’re an ad company first and foremost. It’s more important to them that you open the video than it be relevant. If you have to open a few extra videos to find the right one, you’re more likely to see an extra ad or two in the process.
They don’t have to worry about the results being less useful until it’s bad enough people start actually using other search engines again.

I’ll pitch Bandcamp as an option, especially if/when they bring back Bandcamp Fridays next year (where they don’t take a cut on specific days). Not everyone’s on it, but it’s generally a reasonable, legal option for those artists that are.
