  Notice how nobody wants to start a shootout with armed forces?
  Notice how the only real world impact of civvies arming themselves is more civvies die?

  I’m from a country with sensible gun laws and no gestapo snatching people off the streets. yet we still take to the streets in protest of a far right party blasting past constitutional lines - they’re currently under investigation and potentially to be banned in the future. All without posturing as armed defenders of democracy watching it’s downfall from the sidelines.
