Not officially I don’t think. And even if you did, you’d need a customized app to point to said server, and then you wouldn’t be interoperable with the regular signal network
- Comment on Head of the Signal app threatens to withdraw from Europe 1 day ago:
I think they’re suggesting doing it on top of SMS/MMS instead of a different transport protocol, like Signal does, which is IP based

This is exactly my thought. I eat at my desk, so I don’t bother counting the 5 mins.
- Comment on Intel says Arc GPUs will live on after Nvidia deal 2 weeks ago:
Pretty sure they’re actually the most compatible. I read somewhere that Intel QSV is the best for transcoding, followed by nvidia. And Arc uses QSV I think.
Don’t have a source, so take with a grain of salt.
I’m thinking about throwing an Arc B580 in the Minisforum MS-01 I just got and pass it do my JF VM.

Ironically my dad sneezes pretty quietly, like a mouse. Yet I have the sonic boom of a sneeze. One time in uni I sneezed during a class, the professor stopped his lecture and said “are you ok?!?!”

I asked my barber to shave the gap between them at first. Then he responded with “can I just do the whole thing? It’ll look sick”
It did in fact, look great

Technology connections did a good Video on the topic, and a comparison between them and normal ovens.
Personally I use mine (which is a toaster oven / air fryer combo) because it’s faster and easier to clean. So if I’m making something that fits in it, that’s my choice

For the android users, just gonna put this here
- Comment on Satire is dead 👌 6 months ago:
I think it’s gonna end up being bad. Mainly because most people are gonna hear on Fox News that this was due to some flaw in Signal, and just take that at face value. A lot of people are not gonna even read an article about why or what even happened.
- Comment on Satire is dead 👌 6 months ago:
Just wanna be clear that this didn’t happen because of some technical flaw/vulnerability in Signal. This was completely Human Error
- Comment on What's the Standard Operating Procedure for if someone steals your phone while you were using it and its unlocked? 7 months ago:
GrapheneOS
When I search for it on stock android on my P7, it says it’s in Google Play Services. So my guess is it isn’t part of AOSP, therefore GrapheneOS wouldn’t have it, unless they make their own implementation
- Comment on Framework wants to fix the budget laptop with its first touchscreen machine 7 months ago:
All of the models ship with various options for OS:
- None
- Fedora, Mint, or a couple other Linux distros
- W11
So given they all list a few different distros as an official option, and each product page has a Linux tab, I think it’s a safe bet
- Comment on ‘The tyranny of apps’: those without smartphones are unfairly penalised, say campaigners 7 months ago:
Tbf, my building also uses an app for laundry. However they also have a machine in the laundry rooms where you can purchase an NFC payment card and put money on it. So you can use it without the app. Is that not the case with yours? If not, that’s 100% fucked
