there’s such a thing called “copyright”, and using countless pieces of art for free so that a couple of douchebags become gazillionnaires selling copyright infringement on said pieces of art certainly feels like theft
- Comment on Ever think of the inconsistency of airlines weighing luggage? 4 weeks ago:
the difference in price would be so small you wouldn’t even care
the price of your clothing is mostly supply chain “middle-men” taking their share, not the source material nor the people actuality bringing it to shape. especially with synthetic materials
if it weren’t true (i.e. if the material actually cost that much), stores wouldn’t literally destroy / trow away brand new pieces clothes just to “refresh” every couple of weeks

If you’re going to the US, backup your data and wipe your phone clean of everything personal. Play dumb, leave Facebook & Instagram installed etc.
Don’t do anything remotely fancy, because these mf-ers are just entitled children with a gun, they own you.

Laws were passed that defined those who should be arrested as counterrevolutionaries, and committees of surveillance were set up to identify suspects and issue arrest warrants. Later laws suspended the rights of suspects to both legal assistance and public trials and mandated execution of all those who were found guilty.
Please do not romanticise such a horrendous period. If you hate McCarthyism, then you should absolutely despise this one.
Being labeled as the enemy during a revolution often means prison / torture / death, even if you’re innocent !
