- Comment on Is it rude to reply using English under posts in a language you can’t speak? 1 week ago:
I’m not sure about other places, but in mod comments on Nexus it’s fairly standard to just reply in your native language and have the other person translate.
You’ll often see discussions with one half in English and the other in Chinese, for example.

Ah, this is something I genuinely didn’t consider.
I suppose it’d be better to pick up the games I’m interested in on GoG and play them on PC?

I don’t know if it’s because I’m British, but I always assumed that America is the way it is because we shipped a bunch of over-zealous loons over there that we didn’t really want here.
Part of me isn’t surprised as to how things are turning out, but the other part is disappointed.
- Comment on First UK arrest made over filming of women on nights out without consent 4 months ago:
Probably if they’re following the person/group and interacting with them in some way. The article specifically mentions upskirting, which requires obvious motion.
Cameras following you despite moving away also makes it pretty obvious. If you’re in a state of partial nudity for whatever reason your drunk brain has decided, and somebody is persistently filming you, you have every right to feel concerned about it.
If some dude is talking to himself and live blogging it’s probably not as suspicious, unless he specifically starts mentioning the women in his recording.
Either way, reviewing the footage will clear or condemn them. I’m personally on the side of better safe than sorry since they’ve mentioned this behaviour has lead to further harassment.
