- Comment on Robert F. Kennedy Jr. sues Meta, citing chatbot’s reply as evidence of shadowban 5 months ago:
There has indeed been curtailing of 1st amendment rights. We all remember the twitter files I’m sure. You can bet anything that same crap happens on meta platforms. Surely there is an argument to be made on the curtailing of 1st amendment rights and whether these social media companies are an apparatus of the gov.
But yea according to all these expert lawyers in the comments nothing to see here.

The fact meta has received 2 billion dollars in taxpayer gov’t money should entitle every single taxpayer to their 2nd amendment.

That’s cool. I’ve never had those problems at all other than 1 damaged order once which believe it or not you can purchase a damaged product at a store as well. Matter of fact just last week I bought what I thought to be something new inside a store and it was clearly used. I’ve never experienced that at Amazon but yea anyways sucks to suck doesn’t it?

Ofc I am, Amazon has done great amazing things for society and I have every right to defend Amazon from these crazy entitled people. Have you seen the comment from the guy who can’t accept the fact that Amazon can’t accept his money for a refunded item he ended up receiving an hour after the refund. The dude for whatever insane reason thinks Amazon will end up deleting his account over fraud down the line and has spent days talking to different Amazon support people who all tell him the same thing, there is no system in place to take your money for a refunded order you later received and don’t worry about it. It’s just insane but that’s how these people think.
And I can defend Amazon all I want until an anti Amazon moderator decides to ban me and censor me for calling out these anti Amazon and entitled people.
- Comment on Amazon Customer Service has become awful 6 months ago:
They already told him just keep them. This same thing happened to me few months back. They literally don’t have a way to accept the money for whatever reason it is I’m sure there’s some reason to it. Probably because there is some insurance type thing in place where they are getting that money from. I just don’t understand why OP can’t accept that and move on with their life lmao it’s bat shit insane to me.
- Comment on Amazon Customer Service has become awful 6 months ago:
Holy, this is insane. Your are complaining about the excellent customer service they provided to you? Your making up some delusion that they will claim you frauded them and suspend your account? It’s absolutely insane I’m sorry. I can just tell your some know it all who thinks they’re better than those trying to help them. Your customer support agent was trying and did successfully help you and you belittle them for having trouble adding up the total. For all you know it could have been there first solo day on the job. You act like you’ve never made a single mistake.
- Comment on Amazon Customer Service has become awful 6 months ago:
You don’t even know wtf you are talking about it’s hilarious. You just ignorantly hate Amazon lmfao. What I’ve gathered from your comment is that you’ve never once shopped on Amazon.
Amazon is way more than helpful when something goes wrong with an order. I had an order say it was delivered but I didn’t see it anywhere at my door a few months back and they sent me a reship and the next day the original order had arrived+the reship arrived the day after that. And the original shipment wasn’t even Amazon’s fault. That shipment was fulfilled by USPS which USPS for some reason marked the order delivered when it wasn’t. That’s also what people can forget is that sometimes Amazon has USPS or ups deliver the order and sometimes it’s not amazons fault it’s those carriers. Anyways entitled people don’t care about the specifics just that their cat food was delayed.
- Comment on Amazon Customer Service has become awful 6 months ago:
That’s why Amazon’s quarterly profits have more than tripled since last year. You guys are correct Amazon delivery service is sooo shit. Always delaying my orders making me want to shop elsewhere. It makes so much sense now why their quarterly profits have tripled.
- Comment on Amazon Customer Service has become awful 6 months ago:
I can do me looool. Amazon has done more for this society than your useless rage comments about Amazon ever can.
- Comment on Amazon Customer Service has become awful 6 months ago:
Then I’ll complain about it on Lemmy when my urgently needed meds are delayed in shipping when I could have just walked to the CVS corporation and gotten my meds.
- Comment on Amazon Customer Service has become awful 6 months ago:
Look around, it’s corporations everywhere. The Internet you are using? Corporation. The device you connect to the Internet? Corporation. The place you buy your food? Corporation. The actual food itself? Mostly corporation. The toilet you shit on? Corporation. First it was delayed shipping your mad about. Now your mad about corporations. Can tell your like 15 years old. Don’t worry kid you’ll get it figured out soon.
You’re talking about “bezos and musk bootlickers” when you’re doing the same shit? You’re bootlicking your local businesses who buy all their inventory from some corporation? Wanna get away from corporations? Move to some remote town with a population or 5000 in some other country maybe in a communist country would suit you well.
- Comment on Amazon Customer Service has become awful 6 months ago:
Well I’ll be damned. That bridge collapse in Baltimore where all the shipping containers come in through really delayed my Amazon order didn’t it? God damn I hate Amazon!!! Why can’t they get my urgently needed orders to me in 1 day???
- Comment on Amazon Customer Service has become awful 6 months ago:
At least I’m not the idiot buying such urgently needed shit that I feel the need to complain about it on Lemmy when it gets delayed in transit. Shocked Pikachu face?? Delayed in transit? No shit that winter snow storm really delayed my order didn’t it?
I wonder how many late orders it takes until someone decides to buy their urgently needed crap at a normal store like a normal person.
- Comment on Amazon Customer Service has become awful 6 months ago:
So buy it locally then what are you even complaining about? Who gets something they urgently need delivered anyways. Boohoo one of your god knows how many basically free deliveries arrived a day or two late. It costs a burger king whopper meal for a month of free deliveries. Like Amazon should charge entitled ass customers like you more than that. Who even knows why it arrived late? Maybe your delivery driver got mauled by a pitbull and had to go to the hospital? Who gives a fuck though all that matters is your “urgently” needed delivery was late at no fault other than your own for buying something so urgently needed online.
- Comment on Google lays off hundreds of 'Core' employees, moves some positions to India and Mexico 6 months ago:
Normally there would be another growing sector to relocate the more overstaffed department but there isn’t.
Knowing Amazon quite well, there definitely are sectors that are seriously deficient even new emerging ones within Amazon seem deficient.
It wasn’t painless, far from it, but the point was that unions couldn’t stop it, not that it was fair or nice.
I agree it wasn’t painless in fact there is a high suicide rate within the computer sciences field. In fact it probably still isn’t painless. I also agree unions are useless but some government regulation wouldn’t be.
That just is.
Yea everything is. Until it isn’t.
- Comment on Google lays off hundreds of 'Core' employees, moves some positions to India and Mexico 6 months ago:
They’ll say the work is not needed. That’s because the workload gets pushed to whoever is left. Is there a way you go from 110k employees to 20k and have no workload increase at all without some suffering some deficiencies somewhere in the product. Doubt it.
Another thing is who decides what the employees work on. “Industry hasn’t innovated in x years” okay that’s on CEO/management they decide what products to invest time in. It seems all that’s left are barbarians in these companies. Possibly the visionaries have long been layed off it seems?
