This is a move in the right direction, but universally free bus travel would be much better. The bus network becomes considerably more efficient when you remove all of the dwell time at stops caused by having to take fairs/check tickets/passes

There’s no legal requirement, just as there’s also no legal requirement for drivers not to park in cycle lanes (unless there’s also double yellow lines), which renders most non-segregated cycle lanes more dangerous to use than not.

This is replacing agricultural fields. Solar panels allow for a drastic increase in biodiversity over crop monocultures. It’s an improvement on the metrics you care about as well as in energy production.

This time to feed its infinte hunger for energy.
UK electricity demand is down 20% since 2012, and continuing on a downward trend.
Changes away from more polluting energy sources to meet this reduced demand is a good thing.

Previously you got 10,000 free listings a month on private seller accounts, now it’s 300. Which is plenty for actual private sellers, but businesses operating as private sellers will have to start paying for their listings
