Why are people so vindictive and personal, and why do they double down so enthusiastically about taking it to this personal place where this person involved is being bad on purpose and needs to be attacked for being horrible, instead of just being a normal person with a variety of normal human failings as we all have?
First time on the internet? This happens everywhere, more so when you’re anonymous or pseudonymous, but whenever you’re behind a screen and everyone on the other side is just a username being controlled by an idiot or a troll.

I just did a search on auto trader for every car on sale in Britain. There are several under £300 which aren’t listed as broken, and this isn’t the USA where you’re allowed to drive something dangerously unsafe. I imagine you can get plenty with your $1000.

Well the other thing is that it’s very difficult to instantly tell from a pseudonymous internet comment whether the writer is a normal person up for a civilised discussion or a troll just looking to wind people up. And no offence, but you sounded pretty pro-brexit so not unreasonable to suspect you were a troll!
