There is a game called cyubeVR on steam and PS2VR, built from the ground up for vr. It is a great fun game with a solo dev. Highly suggest checking it out, there are quite a few videos on it and it is highly modable. It is sad that the big cos are dropping support

I cannot seem to find that setting in uefi to turn on that chip… Anyway, I keep trying to get my VR library (98 games) to register more than 3, and room setup is a major stroke of luck.
If there are any suggestions on a distro that will power my rtx 4070ti super, ryzen 7 3800, 32 gb ram, HTC Vive, on its own 4tb sata SSD, I would like to hear them. So far Kubuntu has gotten me the closest.

Oh sweet, I’ll be looking at that tonight. Thanks. If it blocks on their page I’ll just disable, watch, reenable, but it sounds like this should only work on the main page. Thanks again

ublock can do that? I only watch my friends shorts to help them with views and thumbs, will it block the shorts if I go to the channel and view there, or only on main page?

I can’t even stand listening to the AI voice overs. This one yt chan does Dune and a bunch of other stuff I like to watch and listen to, but their use of an AI voice over reading their material just turned me off completely after 4 videos

You want a space heater try an AMD K6-2, First pc I ever had to get an aftermarket heat-sink for cause it would shut down in the summer for overheating. Normal operating temp was like 80C

I think I’ll try using OBS to capture a video tonight, granted its quality will be tied to the output but it requires no additional hardware. Then edit in DaVinci to get rid of the obvious mistakes i’ll make. I only have a 4070 ti super tho
- Comment on Prime Video subs will soon see ads for Amazon products when they hit pause 6 months ago:
The usual reason given is convenience “I can get it all in 1 place, instead of driving/bussing around town looking for the local option”. I am looking for a usb mic with a short wire to attach to my vr headset so I can stop killing peoples ears with hard P and similar. My local computer store doesn’t carry any mics like I need only the desktop professional ones, nor any nearby local stores either. My only real option is to either go to Best Buy or Bozo. sigh
- Comment on Prime Video subs will soon see ads for Amazon products when they hit pause 6 months ago:
I’ve been screaming this into the void for years and always get shot down. It’s almost like people like to be abused. I saw how bozo destroyed business after business in the early years and have been avoiding it fairly well, I will go without my special not necessary “toy” until I find it local, which is getting harder and harder sadly as the convenience is killing local business

That is why most of us dropped cable, $80+ for 10 mins of ads in a “30” min show
