- Comment on Borderlands 4 Dev Gearbox Asks PC Gamers to Wait 15 Minutes for Shaders to Compile in the Background While Playing After Reports Indicate Recent Update Causes Stuttering - IGN 1 week ago:
tired of this game crashing.
I wait 15min for shader just to get into the menu, then continue, then wait another 5-10min for even more shaders...
play for an hour or so, and then it just crashes out.
- Comment on CATL says next-gen sodium-ion battery supports 500 km range, readies for 2026 mass production 2 weeks ago:
Question is.... How much cheaper...
LFP is almost at the price point we could all have a freezer sized battery pack in our house, drastically changing the grid, and allowing a place for all that wind/solar to store energy.
If Sodium is a fair chunk cheaper, then it will totally be worth buying a house battery pack. Buying energy on the cheap at certain times of day, and using the battery when energy prices are high.
- Comment on Borderlands 4 boss tells players "please get a refund from Steam if you aren't happy" as Randy Pitchford continues his very public crashout over the FPS's performance woes 2 weeks ago:

- Comment on What are the most useful things you've printed? 1 month ago:
I started up Reddits functional print many years ago to serve as a gallery/showcase to inspire others that 3D printing has a lot of useful uses.
I left Reddit with the Exodus, but I believe it still exists, although it's probably bot filled garbage now.
But it had a huge list of useful things.
I have a similar thead here on the fediverse, but the original site (kbin.social) died out and I haven't bothered to get another going.
