As others have said and how I always see it:
- Discs are small, circular, flat objects, e.g. the discus;
- Disks are discs used for computer stuff, e.g. floppy disk(ettes), CD-ROMs, DVD-ROMs, hard disks, and so forth…
In other words, all disks are discs, but not all discs are disks.

In any case, I wasn’t even bitching about. I was expressing a very mild annoyance. If I were bitching, I would have used caps or bold or italics or even straight-up insulted him.
I did none of these things. Compared to when people actually bitch about things, I was relatively mild with my initial comment.

I would absolutely no problem with paying for YouTube Premium if it wasn’t so goddamned expensive (and was ad-free). Like, seriously, I don’t need all this extra crap. All I want is the same old YouTube I’m currently using but with zero ads. And I can’t afford it anyway, but even I could I wouldn’t pay 15–20 USD for just no ads (the only feature I’d actually use).

I refuse to tip on anything except things that are traditionally tipped, e.g. haircuts, non–fast food establishments, delivery, etc.
But that being said, when I do tip, I tip exceedingly well. Typically a minimum of 80–100%. I know how much they rely on tips, and I love seeing them smile. :)
Downside is I can’t afford to go those places or do those things very often. But what can you do? ¯\(ツ)/¯

Yes, you’re right. There have multiple iterations of the “metric system” since it’s introduction in 1892–1895, most notably the original 1795 draft variant, then the CGS (Centimeter-Gram-Second) version, then the MKS (meter-kilogram-second) variant, with the most recent incarnation being the International System of Units (SI).
That’s why there are plenty of metric units, but not all of them are SI units.
