- Comment on We may clown on him a lot but it's genuinely quite dystopian how much power Elon Musk has. 1 day ago:
This is just how capitalism works. Society’s resources are divied up based on capital. But capital is one of those resources. So it feedback loops into concentrating more and more resources into fewer and fewer hands. And elon is the poster child for just how incompetent you can be and it not matter.
- Comment on Uber's new shuttle service sounds a lot like a bus route 1 day ago:
This is not a good thing. Even in NYC, where the MTA is a massive chunk of money, we have one of the slowest bus systems in the world. That’s through no fault of the busses, mind, this is the cars fault. And, kinda Uber’s fault. The traffic is so bad, even where busses have their own lanes, the traffic slows that shit down like crazy.
Im with you that cars are the problem, thats why im defending this proposal for more bus service. Also in the same boat of venture capitalist tech companies are all those bike sharing businesses that popped up over the years. I still see them as positive, they’ve become integrated into many european pedestrian friendly cities id like for American cities to imitate.

I dont see any mention of them or video here, theres a petition with text here that definitely reads as supporting games indefinitely, even criticizing servers shutting down.

The more you grow and eat at home, the less the food industry needs to burn fuel to ship. I know you folks in the US hate doing anything to help out with the world, but if you took the saying of be the change you want to see, imagine the tens of millions of acres being wasted on lawns being put to environmental and nutritional use. Imagine instead of putting leaves into plastic bags to get shipped to a landfill, or burning, houses normalized having compost piles. You get to put waste paper and cardboard in there too instead of bagging it.
I challenge all of yall to grow beans this season. They grow fast, they grow easy, theyre pretty nutritionally complete, they fertilize your soil themselves. Make use of your land.

- Comment on Rabbit R1 AI box revealed to just be an Android app 2 weeks ago:
For a device thats running an android app. Yeah ive bought plenty of game systems. It could be like a drone, or smart hvac control, drawing tablet, vr headset, 3d printer. There are so many expensive programmed electronics.
- Comment on Rabbit R1 AI box revealed to just be an Android app 2 weeks ago:
This is not about the programming language nor the OS
It’s about masquerading a cheap butchered android phone
Wait til you hear about what android is. Android isnt a company that makes phones.
- Comment on Rabbit R1 AI box revealed to just be an Android app 2 weeks ago:
You say android app like that makes it worthless. Its software they made running on hardware they designed.

Linux isnt custom, its just another open source OS. This is ridiculous.
- Comment on Rabbit R1 AI box revealed to just be an Android app 2 weeks ago:
What do you mean not specific design? Android apps are just programs. What were any of you expecting it to be programmed with? A brand new programming language?

that’s how society works man, we agree to do things a certain way. Lead used to be a really popular component in a lot of consumer products that ended up with a lot of awful health effects. And basically, science let people know it’s bad and should be avoided, and society changed to fix it.
- Comment on fossil fuels 4 weeks ago:
if you wanna reduce global emissions, you should at least know where it’s coming from. You hear how most emissions are coming from corporations, mostly oil companies, but that’s not quite it. If you went to their corporate headquarters you wont find the emissions they’re talking about. If you went to their oil drilling operations, you wont find them there either. The pipelines, the oil tankers, still no. Oil companies emissions are coming from your tailpipe. I mean it literally when I say consumer emissions and their emissions are the same.
Its important to know, think about it for a bit, you’re demanding oil companies to take responsibility for those emissions. Imagine they do what you want for a change, and they stop their emissions. That means no gas available to consumers. And oil companies are the biggest targets, but any corporate emissions work the same way, them taking responsibility for their emissions means halting what they produce. Because corporate emissions and consumer emissions are the same, consumers have to deal with the consequences no matter what, either by stopping buying themselves, or no longer having products available to buy.
- Comment on fossil fuels 4 weeks ago:
Youve got all the control. Without you theyre not emitting anything
