I was recently surprised by Debian 12. Tried it on my Dell laptop and getting better battery life than Pop!_os. Try this installer which makes life so much easier :)

Sorry, I couldn’t manage to read the whole post. Anyway, yoo may want to try authentik 2024.6 or later. They “reworked proxy provider redirect” in that version. I find it much more stable, but still not perfect. OAuth works great though.

Interesting to observe how our intuition is failing us while dealing with digital products. When someone gives you something for free on the street, naturally you get suspicious and start asking yourself “where is the catchm?” But when there’s a free app - no second thought. Everyone is using it so it must be ok. Well, Google and Facebook are nothing but glorified advertising agencies. The whole reason of their existence is to make money on ads.
