Appreciate thoughtful answer. No surprise people downvoting. I kind of expected that. Easy to reject different world view vs engaging into discussion.
I hope one group of people can implement some kind of successful socialism model. My personal experience, growing up as a teenager in exUSSR, was pretty bleak. Yes, everyone could get a basic job. But vast majority of the people were poor. Not starving but not too far to what you see now in North Korea documentaries. Those in the ruling party were living a bit better, yet still incomparable to middle class Western citizens. I am not even mentioning that one could end up in jail for basic critique of the government.

I am not saying capitalism is flawless. It gets ugly quite often. But how do you know it’s good under socialism? Have you lived in socialist society or know any examples where it thrives. Socialism idea being romanticised a lot these days. Sadly reality proves it’s an utopian model.

I do run it in docker. It used to work great until few months ago. Maybe my provider (Hetzner) ip triggers captcha. Tried tor proxy and it didn’t make much difference. Brave, Startpage, DDG - all periodically throw captcha / too many request errors.

Sadly SearXNG is plagued by captcha limit. Nothing I tried reliable works.

Italian Competition Authority wants less privacy for the people. I feel like Apple are the good guys in this case.
