Imagine the same for a blueray film…

You’re guessing right, that was the critique, a statement can be a way to critique.

So I cannot critique the idea because some fan would like this? I don’t see your point here. I’m interested in videogame as art, not to commercial success.

Pixel art will always be great but…do you really need another fucking Pokémon game?
- Comment on Grand Theft Auto VI Trailer 2 1 week ago:
As a “game purist” I’ve a 1080p desktop setup for PC and retro, I’m planning to build a full 4k space in the future for this/next gen; 2k is a particular spot, more work oriented, but it can probably use it to play better well optimized PC games that do not need a 4k gamepad experience (I think it hardly depends on the screen size and how it’s placed). I would also really like to buy a real CRT in the future!

That’s another reason consoles still make sense for many gamers.
PS. From a PC player
- Comment on Grand Theft Auto VI Trailer 2 1 week ago:
Yeah if you care about cinema you definely want a better resolution and considering to buy your UHD versions whenever available, but I could say the same for some modern videogames.
- Comment on Grand Theft Auto VI Trailer 2 1 week ago:
Well, 4k is a great technology for gaming and cinema, highly recommended if you have the space.
- Comment on Grand Theft Auto VI Trailer 2 1 week ago:
So you don’t have a 4k blu-ray player? Consoles still make sense for many people, despite the obvious market issues we have today.

- Comment on PSA: I want a law for PC games to be offered in physical versions again 4 weeks ago:
I’m always pro to retail in arts, people should care more about digitalization into other fields. As a PC gamer I’m starting to collect some console and blurays, they costs mostly the same as digital but you own something. Also don’t forget the preservation issue.

I don’t have any particular needs at the moment, other than that it be a printer that I can keep in my room and that it not be noisy; I would certainly prefer to avoid closed apple-style hardware systems. I live in Europe.
