I agree, toll roads charge based on the license plate or scannable toll pass. Did you have a toll pass in your old car? Even if you did, they should be able to see the license plate doesn’t match your account. Also when you called them did you call the number listed in the letter you got from them?
I would try looking up the company’s number online and calling that. Then if it is a legitimate toll charge, doing what dan1101 said should suffice. I definitely wouldn’t send them a bill of sale or other paperwork. If they’re still stubborn about it, a letter from the dealership that you traded/sold that vehicle on (date) might work.

My spouse and I started Terraria on a whim. After going in blind and thoroughly getting out butts kicked the first night, we found the wiki, started a new game, and have survived a few nights now.
We’re trying to avoid spoilers, so only read the tutorial and getting started pages of the wiki. The mechanics on xbox aren’t always intuitive, and building is especially painful so far.
- Comment on Why do the majority of women still take their partner's last name? 3 months ago:
I have friends who published before being married, so now professionally still use their own last name (for continuity) but socially will go by their husband’s last name.
- Comment on How do I know when it's time to call the "honey wagon"? 7 months ago:
Find out if your local county or municipality has a required timeframe. By us it’s every 3 years.
As far as how to tell in the short term, is there a tank between your house and the drain field that you can access (has maybe a round metal or concrete cover or a plastic riser with lid)? If so, lift the lid and see if you can see the top of the pipe going in the direction of the drain field. If so it’s likely draining fine. If the liquid is near the top of the tank and you can’t see a pipe, you’ll want to get someone to look at it sooner rather than later.
- Comment on Yesterday in Kroger (a supermarket for you non-Americans) I saw a bunch of cans of potato salad. Why would someone buy canned potato salad? 7 months ago:
It’s emulsified like you’re making a vinaigrette and my grandma always serves it warm

My grandma always makes both kinds for family gatherings (the mayo kind and the vinegar kind, vinegar being what she calls German potato salad). The way she makes it, the “sauce” part that coats the potatoes is bacon fat, vinegar and a little sugar.
- Comment on It's almost the week-end, what are you guys going to play? Also, could we have a monthly thread for July? 8 months ago:
Moonlight Rabbits looks adorable. I’ve never played Steam games before (just don’t get my computer out much), but this one is tempting me to start
