- Comment on What should I bring to far-north Scandinavia? 1 week ago:
You going sometime soon? Around December the temps tend to plunge and Jan-Feb can be really cold, somewhere around -40C, potentially with some wind and blowing snow making it feel even colder. Highly recommend good outside set, with winter boots, gloves and the rest of clothing meant for that sort of weather, especially if you expect you would need to be outside for a while. I like the overall type pants and winter rubber boots big enough to fit wool socks in myself. :P Might be difficult to buy good quality stuff if you live somewhere much warmer. Probably worth asking whoever is hosting you for some help there. They might even have extra sets available already. Houses up there are typically very warm, so nothing special needed for inside use. Otherwise maybe a camera that is good in low light if you like to take pictures. Should get some good northern lights and stuff if you’re up there a whole month.

- Comment on What's the least suspicious way to get OTC meds through airport security? 3 months ago:
Least suspicious would probably be in whatever package they come in. When I travel with my family, we do usually bring most meds in a zip lock bag and we’ve had zero issues so far though. Anyway it doesn’t typically matter, assuming the meds are not restricted in the country you’re going to. I wouldn’t expect many OTC meds would be.

Somehow they also designed them so the tube goes stale roughly 2 minutes after opening it. Also the lovely texture reminiscent of sawdust. Truly a marvel of engineering.

Sure, sounds good in the short term. Probably better in the long term to be honest and figure out something that lets everyone to have an orgasm though.
- Comment on Driver update broke my B450 GAMING PLUS MAX? 6 months ago:
OK, based on the new network cards also not working, maybe it could be a PCIe configuration issue? I would check the BIOS again, look for PCIe related stuff like speed or compatibility mode and stuff like that. There could be an OS-support setting too that could cause similar issues. Otherwise maybe some of the Chipset drivers are not correct? Those are annoying to troubleshoot, Windows should revert to default drivers if you delete the currently used driver trough device manager. Good luck!

Check the Ethernet adapter model, download drivers from manufacturer site and see if that helps. Also possible that the BIOS update changed some settings required for the network adapter. It’s not uncommon for BIOS update to reset or add options. Find out how to access the BIOS menu on your motherboard and take a look what settings are available. Typically motherboard manufacturer should have a manual/doc of somekind that outlines the options. Also could try redownloading the older BIOS update package again and revert to that, but I would suggest that only as the last option if nothing else helps.
