- Comment on Custom ROMs have had just about enough of being Android's second-class citizens 3 months ago:
I really hope the GrapheneOS team succeed. Custom ROMs are reason I’m really into tech today. Coding, FOSS, Linux, etc. all that came from rooting my dad’s HTC phone back in the day. Google shouldn’t cannibalize its children.
- Comment on FCC proposes ending cellphone carrier locks after 60 days 4 months ago:
As much as I to be optimistic, I doubt this will pass. So long as Wall Street is still a thing don’t expect any sort of regulations. Continue to buy second-hand, OEM unlocked phones on eBay.

- Comment on How to Figure Out What Your Car Knows About You (and Opt Out of Sharing When You Can) 8 months ago:
Best ways to circumvent this:
-
Buy a pre-2000s car. Sure, cars were going high tech before but this was long before IoT became a thing.
-
Ditch the car all together and get into to cycling and e-bike culture.

That was cringe but I think a better reason NOT to return to reddit is the fact that they just sold out their users an AI company that hasn’t even been named.

- Comment on Kids Don’t Think Congress Has Their Best Interests In Mind With Their Grandstanding ‘Protect The Children’ Hearing 9 months ago:
I don’t want Congress raising our nation’s children. They always use their “protect children” dog whistle to cause panic and yet get nowhere. Parents should really stop asking the government to raise their children for them.
