no, they decided to keep each app separate, k-9 with this old design and thunderbird with something more radical

Exactly and OP is giving people like him a out by pitying him and using the phrase “there are things men need emotionally that women cannot provide”
why should one gender’s emotional needs be fulfilled by another? that’s misogynist by nature
OP’s coworker is an horrible person and deserves evactly what he’s getting and much worse

Is there a way to fully download or scrape a full subreddit or say stackoverflow since they’ve both committed themselves to enshittification and alienating their userbases?
asking because that seems difficult to do and there’s a lot of useful information on both sites

Great post, a quick nitpick if you don’t mind, introduce or use an abbreviation’s full words before using its abbreviated form
Granted that the article is geared towards sysadmins and cloud developers, others who may want to read it may have a hard time doing so. As an example, reading through the first technical point, I saw “IAMs” and “Network ACL”, I don’t understand what those abbrs mean

Hypothethical imaginary situations that are supposed to scare Leftists or other sensible individuals into toeing the dem party lines are false and useless
i keep seeing this analogy and conclusions pop up everywhere on here over the last three months and I’m think a neo-liberal developer has unleashed a host of bot accounts that parrot their party’s propaganda on Lemmy
- Comment on Stay Mad 4 months ago:
When did they say they were throwing their vote away or voting for trunp? You can always expect false analogies from genocidal democrats.
Political/Voting Apathy is a thing, if an individual’s interest and values don’t align with yours, you can’t expect them to support or follow your party. The Biden-led government committed a genocide, deal with the consequences

- Comment on Lemmy is the best social media 4 months ago:
same here, i really hate all this neo-liberal drivel about how everything they don’t like is a CCP/Kremlin sponsored propoganda

Pray, tell, does anyone know how to read and understand a course material and pass an exam on it without memorising?
In today’s world of abundant distractions, reading is hard enough, reading to understand while loading your brain with other interactions seems to be an insurmountable task.
- Comment on "Did you realize that we live in a reality where SciHub is illegal, and OpenAI is not?" 10 months ago:
OpenAI did those subhuman training of ChatGPT in Kenya, not Nigeria. And since the Kenyan govt is a western lapdog these days, nothing would ever come out of that.
