Hate those sharp looking points on the bottom. Weird looking dpad too, but it might be alright. I wonder what size it will be and how the rest of it is shaped. I’m still waiting for that no compromises small sized handheld pc. The orange pi neo looked like it might have been just that, but seems like it just fizzled out or something.

I got stuck too, for a few rounds at least. I learned you can run past him and there’s a grapple point just past. Nice work finally beating him though!
I meant to mention earlier too, if anyone doesn’t know, there’s also an audio cue as well for the dodge/parry timings.

Oh fuck off with that technicality bs.
Lol

One of the videos I watched said a good way to get better is to practice timing your dodges on enemies first (since the window is more forgiving), then once you start hitting those ‘perfect’ dodges you can swap over to using the parry mechanic. I’ve managed to get a little better at it since doing that. Admittedly though, some enemies can still be pretty difficult (that trumpet/horn enemy is a fucking asshole…)

At that point, why even bother? It seems wasteful to say the least.

I wonder what else they will be able to implement. They showed a trimmer guard and something for a toothbrush maybe?

Oh shit. Called it 🤣🤣🤣
Honestly, maybe some of the other good games releasing this year that were afraid of getting overshadowed will have a chance now. 🤷♂️

Awesome, both of those are great. I’ve never actually played perfect dark so that one’s definitely on the list. I also saw that there’s one for majora’s mask as well.
I’m sure they’re probably working on getting the star fox to work on linux. That will be cool getting back into that one too.
I never got into the sonic games too much.

Those are all pretty good reasons.
My experience with all of it was quite a bit different, for reasons that were mostly out of my control, and it affected my overall impression.
It’s good to know that some people were/are happy with it though.

That’s awesome, and good to hear it still holds up. It will always hold a special place for me.
At some point, I’d like to do a deep dive into all these awesome decompilation projects that are being developed. I think it’s going to be a lot of fun.

DKR was awesome. I always wanted to play that one on the N64, even though the others at the time just wanted to play 007.

I recently tried both the last beserker as well as lies of P, and I just couldn’t really get into either of them. I think maybe full blown souls games are just done for me. Death’s door was great though, I really liked that one! I never got into Tunic, but definitely have been eyeballing it for quite a while now…
The developer interviews sound neat, can’t wait!
