Something weird I’ve been noticing. Lately I’ve been unintentionally minimizing comments before I’ve finished reading them. Just happened with yours. It’s like some subconscious part of my brain goes “booorrring!” half way through reading anything longer than two sentences and immediately goes for the next dopamine kick.
And I’m not knocking your comment. I was genuinely interested in what I was reading. It’s just a little troubling. I dropped Reddit a while back because I felt like I was becoming addicted. I lasted a few months, but evidently I’ve fallen off the wagon.

It’s hyperbole, yo. It’s just funny because people born in the previous century don’t really think of it as that.

What if sponsor block started collecting the durations of videos (if they don’t already), then it could skip forward by the difference.
- Comment on YSK there is a massive Google Doc of U.S. gynecologists that will tie your tubes without asking about your kids, marital status or age. 4 months ago:
Are these not valid questions? Serious question, don’t mean to offend. I got asked the same types of questions before my doctor agreed to do my vasectomy.

How can you know? According to the documentary, 2 girls 1 cup, it’s very tolerable for humans.

Are you suggesting the US English isn’t derived from British English? Or are you specifically talking about the history from the late 1600s to present? The US isn’t that old, and also has a rich cultural history…
Maybe an example of how Britain’s rich cultural history has better shaped the language is in order.

Sounds like the US got this one right when we dumped the latter.

Same in Nashville. It’s a shame. I wish the government would regulate this more.

There was a meme posted earlier that used the term “USAean”. They were referring to that i think

Is there a separate conversion chart for every food out there? Seems confusing.
- Comment on Why do Americans measure everything in cups? 7 months ago:
How do you convert cups to weight accurately when a cup of one thing might weigh more than a cup of a different thing?

Maybe they have hair loss and like the way they look with a beard. Everything doesn’t have to mean something else. It’s not your style obviously, but no need to be judgemental.

I’ve seen a few of these drive up convenience stores pop up. They never seem to last.

I use it a lot for writing documentation comments (my company’s style guide requires them), and for small sections at a time. Never a full solution.
