Fuck AI.
Guess when people ask me what ram do I need for X device I won’t be telling them to use crucial anymore to figure it out.

Once canva bought affinity it was going to just go downhill eventually.
- Comment on Immich Frame crashes chromium after extended period of time? 5 weeks ago:
It’s a 2gb pi 4 running latest pi version trixie.
Immich and Immich frame are on docker on my HL15 server. Immich itself isn’t going down. I need to check logs for Immich frame.
Is there a way to make chromium not eat through all the ram? Or maybe I should just try Firefox on the pi?

It’s true. I hate my touch screen to control airflow in my car. Every time I go to adjust it, it fucks up and I’m distracted while driving.
- Comment on Which Core XY printer? 2 months ago:
So I had a creality K1 and it was rock solid. I saved up after and just bought a Prusa Core One which I love. Now the K1 was great I got it when it came out on sale at microcenter for 300$ so if you can find it around that price or lower in my experience you can’t go wrong. I only printed PLA on it so I can’t say how other filaments print on it but pla it just worked.

Pretty sure that’s an ai response. If any person actually typed that they aren’t sane at all.

- Comment on Google: 'Your $1000 phone needs our permission to install apps now'". Android users are screwed - Louis Rossmann 2 months ago:
This was the main reason I have a spare android phone to install whatever I want on it and just factory reset if there’s an issue. Android / Google is really shooting itself in the foot cause there isn’t a point in owning an android after this imo

Have you checked serverpartdeals? They normally have good prices on refurbished and recertified drives

Do it as a side hustle. And if it takes off you expand slowly. Less risk.
- Comment on You can still enable uBlock Origin in Chrome, here is how 4 months ago:
Well some haven’t disabled ublock yet. So it isn’t that silly if chrome based is what they need to run for certain sites. Just use something that is based off it and isn’t stoping ublock yet.

Just use edge, it’s chrome based. Or any other chrome based browsers that aren’t google chrome?

- Comment on xkcd #3109: Dehumidifier 5 months ago:
Welp if they don’t advertise it I’m not going to buy it. I bought the “dumb” Frigidaire because the smart features they list are just turn on and off and fan speed. Why wouldn’t they list full bucket ffs. Oh well time to diy solution it.

Haha no they don’t which is why I went with one that didn’t have WiFi to save like 20$

I need to look into this and see if I can have it send me a text or something when it’s full. Another diy project to add to the list.
- Comment on xkcd #3109: Dehumidifier 5 months ago:
I’ve looked into many WiFi dehumidifier’s and the one thing I wanted from it was to notify my phone if it’s full. None of them do that. All they do is let you change speed and stuff. Nothing that is important to me. I just want to know if I need to go to the basement and empty it or not.

I wouldn’t trust eufy with anything since they leaked people’s webcams and then said there wasn’t an issue for a long time. Cool tech but I’d never buy eufy product that connects to web.
