it’s not only that, remember the point of news articles is to make engagement too and one tactic is to fuel people with rage, even by the means of fake news, and given the internet anonymity, u get anger fueled keyboard warriors

I agree, but add that I think it’s not only hubris and ego, it’s also tying your identity to a certain group (ex: a football team) that makes u protect that group like a wolf in a wolf pack.

- Comment on Fallout TV Show - Trailer 11 months ago:
to me this looks like the most generic “Hollywood trailer” which is unfortunate but understandable.
TV shows/movies based on games are usually just a cash grab that play on people’s love of the source material, but maybe in wrong we’ll see.

- Comment on Why the Internet and society itself is so divided nowadays ? 11 months ago:
the root cause IS the internet.
entities with interest want to sway public opinion for their own goals. they’ll play the “us VS them” card, and its super effective.

I find it both funny and sad how humans choose their own interpretations depends how it suits their bias.
I’m not here to educate u or anyone else, I tried to show u an example by swapping the hated “jews” word with the “gays” that everyone love, but if u still can’t see it then I’m sorry I won’t chase this further :)
