So, sucking up all the dropshipping scams that make up an enormous amount of its “sellers”? Yeah, that tracks. 🤢🙄
- Comment on Havenhold is a neat looking East Asian mythology-inspired action sandbox game that resets its world every 14 days 5 days ago:
I was interested until the “reset every 14 days”. Fuck that edging BS.

Oh yeah! I vaguely recall something similar, I think? At a hackathon, even? IIRC, a small team had figured out how to effectively “bump” RFID locks, and this method led to the greater community discovering a deeper vulnerability in an enormous number of security systems across the globe (single manufacturer/distributor?)… Ah, the many ways ADHD+THC are preternatural super-twins is often why they’re picked last for teams. 🤪

Same ol’ arms race. 🤷🏽♂️

Hunh. I know next to nothing of the tech itself, but I presume that means it can spoof RFIDs? I wonder how, for instance, “membership” stores’ entry scanners might be affected. Intriguing.

Yep. Should be. No idea why that’s not the case, though. What a stumper.

So we still do gibbets? Technically, more affordable than guillotines, at least.

It’s a race to the bottom line. The endless flight of the working class: funnel-fed the products of each other’s work for the price of obedience. Viva La Revolution, coming this season everywhere you stream.

What kind of polymers are you using? While the z-axis issue is certainly a concern, there are adjustments that can be made to a model and/or orientation of it that may mitigate various challenges by usecase, though withstanding “a lifetime of abuse” is unlikely even then. Lastly, if you’re concerned about microplastics’ volume entering your system, I’m betting you were raised to consider recycling as a consumer-focused solution to <insert any of myriad global issues>, like many of us. 🥲😅

Sweeeet! ✨ I’m thinking I’ve just gotta metallicize the halo’s pink to pair with the inevitable pearlescent unicorn white sheen on the body. Yep. Can’t not, frankly. 🤘🏽

Awww, they’re so earnest! 🫶🏼 Mind if I add a smidge of piano wire to hold up their halo? It’ll have a bit of a bobblehead bounce to it that way and won’t risk breaking like a resin stem/support would. Also, do you wanna resurface the teeth to be more tooth like or is the ceramic tile look a biblically accurate thing? (It’s been an alhoon’s age since I read that shitty fanfic, NGL.) Either way, I’m looking forward to printing this cutie up ASAP while I avoid this holiday with grand geeky fervor. 🤓🤘🏽

Sounds great! Don’t forget: neodymium come in all sorts of tiny sizes and make for super fun electric upgrades (eg. LED lightsabers, moving parts, hidden contact points, etc.) to minis and showpieces. Here’s to your endless exploration of those rabbit holes, friend! FWIW, magnets can close a circuit, but the smaller they are the thinner the barrier between them needs to be. Have fun!
