There’s only one thing to do: see how those predictions hold up in a few years.
Or maybe try NOT putting LLM in charge of these other critical issues after seeing how much of a failure it is.
- Comment on Or in 2025. Looking at you, Florida. 1 week ago:
More of an analogy then a story. Feel free to do some independent research. Look at some creditable peer reviewed studies. There are mounds of information out there that support both traditional and the newer mRNA vaccines.

- Comment on Microsoft has pulled back on over a gigawatt of planned data center capacity, suggesting that they do not think there is a growth future in generative AI 6 months ago:
AI is a tool, like a hammer. Useful when used for its purpose. Unfortunately every tech company under the sun is using it for the wrong fucking thing. I don’t need AI in my operating system or my browser or my search engine. Just let it work on protein folding, chemical synthesis and other more useful applications. Honestly can’t wait for the AI hype to calm the fuck down.

So as weird as it sounds not all infinities are equal. For example there is an infinite set of odd numbers. That set will never include the number 2 though.
