- Comment on U.S. consumers are so fucked up, that they put more than $1 billion on buy-now, pay later services during Cyber Monday 4 weeks ago:
Eh, mostly just because less money coming out of my account at once feels better and there isn’t a downside really. It’s mostly like Amazon’s pay in 4 etc, especially if I think there is a chance I might return it. I would not ever not pay it off and incur fees. Its nothing special, I don’t touch afirm though generally just Amazon and paypals short duration things.

Idk, I do them when there is no interest involved. Like my credit card I only do it when I have the money though.

Let’s not forget about the fun added UI elements that were added without removing the old redundant ones. Also I want my large clock/weather widget back please
- Comment on Yep, I actually own 7,255 games on Steam. I’ve played 23% of my library. I regret nothing. 5 months ago:
I tend to not finish games because I don’t always have as much time to commit to some games, loose steam a bit. then I jump into the next game that my friends want to play together. It can be frustrating sometimes but I think I have accepted it as my cycle now.

They would probably just use the existing amber lights so noone would know if you were turning or not. I’m not bitter.

- Comment on Plex is locking remote streaming behind a subscription in April 9 months ago:
As far as I know emby is a jellyfin fork that I think they took closed source? I also went the emby route after getting annoyed at how much Plex was pushing their own content. Emby felt more polished to me than jellyfin, I get that there is some community resentment over some of their decisions but so far I haven’t had any regrets and have more control than with Plex.
