I’d be lying if I said the castles weren’t one of the biggest reasons for my interest. I spent the better part of the past year playing Kingdom Come Deliverance, and it’s broiled an interest in that part of the world’s history for sure. Your comment makes me feel like I’m making the right choice!

Alright but let’s not forget that the Liberals were about to get removed from the face of the map when it was projected before Christmas.
The Conservatives were never going to be a non-factor, and only 4 months ago were looking to be sleepwalking into a majority. Luckily Trudeau stepped down and we got the result we saw tonight. Thankfully the CBC will live on.

Hoping to visit your country in a year or so, any recommendations for places to see/things to eat the most? Always love getting an idea of someone’s favourite parts of their home.
- Comment on I'm a 64-year-old Amazon employee. Retirement wasn't even on my radar, but now I have to leave due to RTO mandates. 3 weeks ago:
I don’t disagree on a general scale but in relation to this post it isn’t the rich forcing a lot of teams back to work. It’s people in management positions that are over valued and unable to provide an effective workspace without being over their workers shoulders. There’s always the argument the building owners who rent their spaces are the ones paying to get RTO more advertisement space, but in the end it’s the middle class doing it to itself.
- Comment on HELP! Im looking for a game like CIV 6 where the point is to go to war 4 weeks ago:
Agreed with this. Started in the CIV world with 5, then a buddy introduced me to Rome:Total War and it was like finding crack. I still like to take over all of Europe at some point once a year.
Just a heads up OP, the games are limited to regions of the world, it’s never the full globe.
- Comment on German experiment gave people a basic monthly income – the effect on their work ethic was surprising 4 weeks ago:
Yup, Ontario had it for a small community and the people on it were doing great. They’re still just running these programs in other areas to try and find the one with negative results so every country can point to that as their reason to not do it longterm.
That’s why you keep seeing 100 of these “trials”.

I’ve learned something new, and also simultaneously seen things in that guys modlog that continued to make me question humanity. Phew, good callout.

This is the first I’ve heard about Brazil in this type of cyber attack. Is it re-routed traffic going there or are there a large number of Brazilian bot farms now?

I’m going to be going the free solution route, been trying to find a cheap laptop to turn into my server right now. Do you mind if I reach out about it?
- Comment on Plex is locking remote streaming behind a subscription in April 1 month ago:
Dumb question but should there be VPNs operating on both ends, server and client? Or just the client because I’m guessing the server might change the connection address.
