Would you consider a latino + white couple an interracial couple? The categories to select from are white, Asian, and black - after that there’s typically a question to identify if a person is Hispanic.
- Comment on I am looking for a Linux OS 2 weeks ago:
Sample size of one here - I am on EndeavourOS and have an Nvidia card. I had issues with KDE and with Cinnamon (weird UI hiccups). Switched over to Hyprland and haven’t had those issues since (I did have a TON of issues when Hyprland updated from .52 to .53) and also don’t recommend Hyprland setup for a new user, but just wanted to share my experience here.
The install experience with EOS was totally painless and I’ll likely continue to use it on future PC builds (if ram prices ever come down). Looking forward to switching everything to AMD one day.

Right, which is why I thought it was weird there was an article being published about it and assumed it was untimely drivel since the game was released in 2022. Again, it didn’t make sense to me as posted and I had to click into the article to sort it out.
All that to say, it wasn’t abundantly clear to me just based on the title of the post.
- Comment on Overwatch 2 Is Just 'Overwatch' Again And Five New Heroes Arrive Next Week 3 weeks ago:
That the game “overwatch 2” is just a re-hash of the original “overwatch” game - not that it was renamed to be “overwatch”
I also had a hard time reading the post title, still think it’s idiotic, but now it makes more sense to me. I couldn’t understand what the original post title was trying to say.

I just realized that older millennials are ~45. I assumed people over ~43 were gen x-ers.

I’ve seen very few solid implementations of Salesforce… And the consultants are expensive. I’m sure it can be implemented correctly, but it seems you’d need dedicated growth ops staff to tweak, adjust, and continue to optimize the platform.

Ok, I’ll bite. So no warning labels? I understand that this is being interpreted as a result of litigation. If there’s not a warning label on a car seat or crib for your newborn… Honestly, why would I need to make sure there aren’t blankets in the crib or that the mattress isn’t too close to my space heater? If the mattress catches on fire or my child suffocates because they’re too small to rotate onto their back but their airway was obstructed by the comfy furry blankets I put into their crib - look, I just wanted them to be comfortable!
I may have lost my baby, but there’s no point in suing anyone. I should have known better! There were no warning labels. I’ll just sleep it off - a life lost, but nobody to blame. It’s chill, all good!

These things actually only degrade as your cat uses them in America. Elsewhere the cardboard doesn’t mix with hair and fall off into little cardboard chunks that are attractive for small children to eat. Also, the structural integrity actually only gets stronger in other parts of the world, so you’re actually encouraged to step on it, as after some play and what might seem like structural damage to a piece of cardboard, it can actually support the weight of a fully grown adult.

Nope, she ended up peeing on her own leg to relieve the stinging then we walked to a restroom where she could wipe it off with soap.
- Comment on [deleted] 2 months ago:
I live with constant regret that I didn’t pee on my wife’s friend’s leg when she was stung by a jellyfish and was begging me to pee on her while at the beach. I knew it was better to wash the sting with vinegar or something… But it was a carte blanche to do it.

I mean, that’s cool. I just prefer my feed to feel more organic from a broader user base. Different strokes for different folks. That’s what is cool about lemmy - you don’t need to have the same cookie cutter experience. Block who you want and consume submissions from people enjoy. More power to ya if you’re into it. All good brother.

Lol you’re overthinking it. I just don’t want a single user dominating my feed, that’s really all.

It’s the same thing with sunshine, pugjesus, and dude. I can’t fucking stand it. I don’t want to see the same 4 people posting because they’re on a manic upswing/addicted to the platform. I try to block their accounts but it seems like they have already spun up 4 more to submit from a different spot. It’s awful and devalues lemmy (for me). I would be better off never seeing their posts again.
